Matt Badiali, Editor of The New Energy Investor published under the Mangrove Investor joins me to chat battery technology and development.

We start by recapping some of the recent news on sodium batteries, solid state batteries and other minerals being incorporated into new batter development. While we can try to product which battery will become the global standard maybe there is room for a range of batteries developed for different products and uses.

On the investor front Matt shares a trade his in to take advantage of this growth in the battery industry. I ask about the different types of commodities and minerals he thinks will play a larger roll in the energy transition and his time frame for it all.
